2027 Teen Girls Retreat

The 2027 Eastern Conference WMS Teen Girl Retreat was held at Camp Summers and Manget March 5 – 7 2027. The theme was “G.A.P. Love (Good and Acceptable and Perfect Love) from Romans 12:1-2. We had 9 teen girls that attended the retreat for a weekend of digging into God’s Word, a time of rest, wonderful fellowship, games, and some great meals.

Mrs. Sarah Fulmer was our speaker for the weekend. Her first session was a lesson on the 10 commandments. In the following 3 sessions she challenged the girls to discern what the will of God is. Session 2 covered what is good (of moral character), session 3 covered what is acceptable (meeting Biblical requirements, approved by God), and in the final session, she discussed what is perfect (spiritually mature in relation to love and relationships). The girls were challenged by each session from Sarah.

Mrs. Monica Curcio led our worship and praise time before each session, and Miss Deborah Westbury gave us a Missions update about life on the Comarca in Panama. We had twelve ladies in total that helped with different duties during the retreat. We are looking forward to the next Teen Girl Retreat in March of 2027.
