2026 Fall Friends of the Camps Day

Saturday, November 7, 2026

Acts 2:42 “and they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”

The Annual Friends of the Camps Day is coming up on November 7, 2026, beginning with an auction at 10:00 AM at Camp Summers and Manget. This event is a time to reflect on the work of the camps, as you share your experiences over the years, and to fellowship with fellow workers and participants concerning the camps. Let us always give glory to Jesus our Savior for his wonderful work at Calvary and his blessings on his camps he has entrusted unto us.

This will be a time of fellowship and food, as a meal will be provided. All who help with the food are deeply appreciated. We also use this day to raise funds for the camps. We encourage you to bring items of significant value (please no yard sale items) to be auctioned off. We appreciate any crafts you may have made, furniture, housewares, cakes, pies, jellies, quality tools, etc. Come join the fun, and bid high! We ask that you come early with your items, so the auction can start on time.

As you know, everybody’s expenses are going up, so likewise, the camp’s expenses are also rising. Insurance is up for all and also for the camps. God owns everything, but he entrusts us with his materials and expects us to use them wisely. Proverbs 3:9-10 “Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase: so shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.” We have this promise from God: if we honor Him, he will send us blessings.
