Spring Work Day at Camp Summers & Manget - Saturday, March 31, 2012  8:00am-1:00pm

Spring Work Weekend at Camp Three Forks Trail – Thursday-Saturday, April 26-28, 2012

Camp Summers & Manget Work Day

The Spring Workday at Camp Summers & Manget is set for March 31, 2012 from 8:00am until 1:00pm. Lunch will be furnished and served shortly after 1:00pm.

We will clean the cabins, Recreation Hall and Tabernacle. Additionally any maintenance issues, toilets, faucets, etc, will also be corrected. The areas around each building will be cleared of any debris and the front pecan grove cleared of brush and limbs.

The focal point will be the windows and doors of each cabin. They are in dire need of painting and caulking. Several of the cabin doors are sticking and will need to be adjusted.  We will have a list of the work to be accomplished and add additional work items as they are identified.

We will furnish the materials needed for the work tasks. We ask that you bring the cleaning supplies.  Organize a group from your Church, Cartwright Men, WMS or Sunday School and join us. We appreciate your support of YOUR CAMP and look forward to seeing you at the Workday.  For more information, please contact Mr. Woody Gregory.

Camp Three Forks Trail Work Day

We need your help on April 26th-28th at Three Forks Trail Camp. There are many projects that need to be done to make for a more pleasant and enjoyable stay, whether it be at summer teen camp, or during one of the weekend retreats.

First on the list: Making another water slide that will replace the one we had to close off due to the new Faith Life Center building. Second on the list: Installing ceiling-mount gas heaters in the bathhouse for the retreats in the spring and fall. Finally: Working on some landscaping and walkway needs around the camp.

So make plans to come on up to the mountains the weekend before the Spring Retreat.  Bring your shovels, hoes, axes, rakes or just bring yourselves. Please let me know if you plan on coming up and how long you will be up for, so I can get the food and cabins available for your stay.   For more information, please contact Mr. Raymond Talley.

We appreciate your support of YOUR CAMPS.
